Forensic Fundamentals is a half-day face-to-face forensic clinical training designed to provide Victorian Alcohol and other Drug Workers with information and clinical skills for working with forensic clients.
The training is funded by the Victorian Government; developed and delivered by Caraniche and TaskForce; and evaluated by 360Edge.
The Forensic Fundamentals training builds on a foundational e-learning forensic AOD module developed by the Victorian Alcohol and Drug Association (VAADA). A one-day specialised forensic AOD clinical training is also available for AOD clinicians who work with clients presenting with greater complexity.
These initiatives are part of the implementation of the new Forensic Alcohol and Other Drugs Treatment Service Delivery Model and are closely aligned with Victoria’s Alcohol and Other Drugs Workforce Strategy 2018-2022.
